My mind is restless
Crisis is impending at every corner of the world.
The pandemic continues to disease our earth
New variants keep moving the goalposts of vaccinations.

Healthcare workers are exhausted, overwhelmed and hurting

Where are the boundaries that keep us stable?
Closed borders, travel restrictions
Fear of change creeps into our minds
Feelings of losing control escalates
He who abides in the shelter of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Psalm 91:1-2
Children in the classrooms
Teachers and students quarantined
Masks are enforced through dress codes
Social distancing enforced
Parents stretched thin between family and work
In my distress I called to the Lord;
I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice;
my cry came before him, into his ears.
Harsh words are spoken freely
Choices made are based on political party
Social media promotes fake news
Anger and frustration abound
He reached down from on high and took hold of me;
he drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my strong enemy and from those who hated me, for they were too mighty for me. Psalm 18:16
Searching for hope
Seeking to love my neighbor
Resting with the Fruit of the Spirit
Love, joy peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control
Trusting God is before us
When they call to me, I will answer them; when they are in trouble, I will be with them, I will rescue them and honor them. Psalm 91:14b-15
